  1. Potatoe Crop.
    There are potatoes sowed in our land, a half an acre. They sometimes vary.
    They are opened with a plough. Then the drills are filled with manure and the potatoes are dropped. The local people help one another by dropping potatoes and putting in manure. They are sowed in drills.
    Great care is taken of the potatoe crop in Summer such as moulding and weeding.
    They are sometimes ploughed out or dug out. They are stored in pits. Champions grow best in our county.
