    There is an old house in Killevalley and a woman lived in it by the name of Tess Brennan.
    The house was built mud or wattles

    There are very few half doors in the district.
    It is said that long ago half doors was common in olden days.
    Long ago there was no such thing as glass in windows

    Long ago all the floors was made of yellow clay and stones and lime.
    Long ago when people would be going to thatch their house if they had no thatch they would go to the bog and cut rushes and bring them home and spread them and let them get dryed and then the men would thatch
