of the gate with the sheet wrapped round him. At length he heard the pounding of the fools boots on the road so up with him on the pier of the gate. But to his surprise and amazement another ghost appeared on the other pier. He jumped down and started running at full speed for the house with the real ghost after him. The fool seeing what had happened ran after them shouting at the height of his voice "Run big divil or the big divil will catch you". The sham ghost ran with such speed to get away from the real ghost that he ran against the (house) corner of the house and his hurt his head. Being overcome with fright and stunned by the blow he fell in a swoon. The ghost disappeared into the interior of the house and was never seen again.
