    1. I live in th town of Drogheda in the parish of Saint Peter's in the Barony of Louth.
    2. The are approximately 5,000 houses in the town which are mostly slated or tiled.
    3. The old thached houses are now nearly all knocked and new red-brick houses built to replace them.
    4. There is about five thousand houses in the town.
    5. The surname most common in the town is O'Brien
