    9. Nails were made by Mr. Oats from Pitcher Hill and Boylen from Magalene's Street.
    10. Edward Lambe from William's Street made Baskets.
    11. Clay pipes were made by Mr. Cahil of the potatoe's Market.
    12. Hand made peg boots were made, suitable for farm work, by Mr. Moore and Mr. Mc Ivor, West Street.
    13. Milking oat meal and crushed oats were carried on, in two water mills owned by Mr. Mc Carthy and Mr. Greene, one is on the Newtown Road, and the other in Yellow Batter.
    14. About seven years ago there was an old salt mill in John's Street owned by Mr. Stokes.
    15. Not long ago there was a foundry on the Marsh Road owned by John Smith and all the farm impliments were made there.
