  1. An old man named Tom Mc Guirk told me a story of a man named John Leonard. He had a lot of children and worked in a small forge in John Street. On his way home from his work one night he had to cross a field.
Suddenly he crashed into an old hollow tree. As the tree was rotten the bark came off. In the hollow there was a number of pearls which he could see glistening in the dark. he got a large sum of money for the pearls and he had not to work so hard afterwards.
