  1. Long ago the children did not wear boots, until they were about twelve years old.
    During the winter the people mostly wore clogs or big boots studded with nails, and tips on heels and toe.
    People should wash their feet every day, and keep them fresh and clean
    There are two greasaidhes in our village. They both make new boots and repair old ones.
    Our footwear is made from tanned hides and are soft and comfortable.
    Mr. J. Gaynor is the principal shoemaker, and his father before him was a shoemaker.
