    I heard the following story from my grandmother: ¶ "It is said that down at the Quay in Dundalk there was an old bar.

    There is a place on the Quay situated about half-a mile outside the town. One night two boys were taken from their bed by Black-and-Tans and put against a wall and shot. The stones in memory of these two young men are still against the wall.
