    Fairs.
    There is a fair held in Ennis every month for cattle.There was a fair held in Kilnamona long ago because no fair would be allowed in Ennis.The fair which is held in Ennis on the eighteenth of April is called the big fair of Ennis.
    It is always held in the fair green .For every beast which is sold at a fair sixpence has to be paid for him and that sixpence is called custom.Two pence custom has to be paid for bonham which is sold.
