    There lived in Clare long ago a woman named Biddy Early. It is said that she had a magic bottle. At one time a child belonging to my great grandmother was very ill so they sent for Biddy Early. She came and when she saw the child she said that it was not baptised properly so they sent for a priest and he baptised the child and it became well again.
