  1. Long ago there lived in Clare a man named "Seoda Mac Conmara". He had an only son who was about thriteen years of age when a terrible accident occurred to him. He was running by the bank of a river, and he accidently slipped into its current and was carried down by its wave.
    His body was luckily recovered before he was dead. He was immediately carried to a doctor to be recovered. When "Seoda" his father heard of the tragedy he was deeply grieved and
