    he was told, and killed the priest on the spot where the cross is now.
    The tower was used (fre) for saving the priests when the soldiers would come to kill them. That is why the tower is near the chapel, and the window is a good distance from the ground. The reason for this is as (possible) follows. From this a ladder was hung and when all the priests were safe inside the tower the ladder was taken away and the English had no (Chance) chance to get near the priests or take away any sacred vessels.
