    A Foreign land. They made up their mind after to go aboard of this ship. When they were aboard of this ship the captain of the ship fell in love with this grand looking woman. He said to her "What was down on you to marry that other ugly looking man." "Tis a pity for I would marry you." "Tis a pity," says she for what can be done now. "There can says he i'll throw him over board. Do not say's she but when you will come to some lonesome or backward island you could put him on the island. So the captain said "we'll put him on this island where he will see no land for a long time," so they filled up a big bag of bread and cake for him and he was let into this little island. And she said to him "I'll meet you again," but the poor little traveling man was traveling woods, and graves, for days, and nights, for months, and years, and and had not the clothes nor shoes on him.
