of the miracles worked by St. Pecaun. One day he asked a woman for a bit of butter and she refused saying that she had none. She had a big lump of butter and when she saw the saint coming she hid it in a room and when the saint was gone she went to look for it but it was changed into stone.
It is said that he is buried under whitethorn tree. In the evening of the first of August a great crowd assembles at the field and boys run races, and money prizes are given to the winners. Also on the first week of August women go up to make their "rounds".
