    This song was made up by Paddy Larkin and Josie Larkin and Morris Foran of Seskin. It was made up not so long ago.

    To go to John Quinn's Ball it was my desire,
    Sure when I went there I got full to be sure,
    Of the dancing and waltzing with the Lassies from Tour.
    II
    This dance was got up for Rodger Hannigan I'm sure,
    And the committee was composed well wishers from Tour,
    Of course they decided to have no men on the ran,
    In order to have a good feed on their old currant ban.
    III
    The dancing it started at nine o'clock sharp,
    And he first on the floor was my brave Michael Hark,
    The blacksmith got up sure a hell of a fool,
