  2. The names of the local roads in this district are , the main road, the old road, the bog road, and the Glown road.
    The main road leads form Dublin to Cork through Tipperary and Limerick. The old road leads from the Ford in Aughlee through the fields to Crushana hill. The bog road leads from the Ford to Shallee cross. The Glown road leads from Killoscully to the Silvermines.
    No person in this district knows when they were made. All the roads are still used. About thirty years ago
