  1. Many years ago a hall took fire when an engine that was working pictures went wrong. About fifty people lost their lives. It occurred in Dromooloher. A long time ago there was a spring well in Castle Oliver. People cames their to be cured. When Lady Ashtown heard of it she ordered it to be closed. It sprung up in another field. There is a very old castle in Mr. Trenches Estate. It is built on the top of a hill. People said that it was a place for hanging people.
