  1. Enrights had a forge where Sullivans forge is now. The forge is about two miles from Kilmeedy. One night about twelve when Denis Enright who was a great sportsman was going in home he saw a fire lighting in the forge. He went to quench the fire but failed. Next day he was sick and died in a fortnight after. Every night while he was sick a hare used to come to his window. When he died the hare was never seen after.
