    dressed, wearing belts of straw and hats made of straw.Those "Straw-boys" were not invited. they came and danced and enjoyed themselves for a little while. The Bride and Bridegroom would remain at the bride's home for a couple of day. Then they would have the "hauling home" to the bridegroom's home and have another big party at the Bridegroom's house. The dowry the bride got was stock.
