caught the dooney man about the waist. "Now" he said, "I have you and you cannot get away from me". "What do you want said the Leprechaun. "Show me where to find a crock of gold." "All right" said the Leprechaun. "Let me down". The Leprechaun led the boy to the liss. In the side of the liss there was a large pot of gold. "There is your gold" said the Leprechaun "now let us part friends. Will you take a pinch of snuff with me and he held out a golden box. The boy bent over to take a pinch but as he bent the little man threw the snuff on his face. He sneezed and sneezed until his head nearly split. When he came to himself the Leprechaun had vanished. The boy said "It dose not matter I still have my gold" and he went to the hole to take it out. The pot was there but all it contained was a heap of dry leaves.
