- There was a woman who had a lot of money. She had a son called Jack who was out earning his hire. The woman was old and Jack came to see after her and to bury her if she would die for he thought she had no money. One day she told Jack that she should go and look at her grave. She took the money with her because she did not want to it let it to Jack. She dug a hole near her grave and buried the money but Jack was peeping through the bushes and he said that he would have it all when she would die. The old woman died after a bit and Jack came to her grave where she buried the money but instead of finding the money he found his mother's rosary beads and he went away crying.
