    "Three year olds"
This bad spirit continued for many years. A captain of the "Four Year Olds" was a Paddy Luddy.
Said Paddy Luddy to his men,
    Don't ye kill or slaughter
Ye can slash their sides with blackthorn sticks
But leave every child his father.

  2. Annso an Búlán Ruadh
    Seo chuireamar ruaig
    Ar neamhneart as Contaithe Éire
Tá's againn amh is ní focal lán
Ní miste a tráct ar aon Rí
A Seoirse i a bhuidhin ní taitneamhar linn
Dá dtuigadh ár gásra taobh linn
Mara mbeidh súd is eagal cad dubairt
Ní teocfadh ach cúigear saor dibh
This given by Mrs Ellen Sullivan (79).
The Irish written as the sounds struck the ear.
