  1. Once upon a time as a work-man was busy harvesting the potatoes in Moneen there appeared to him a grey-haired woman who looked to be in great trouble. She spoke to him and asked if he would oblige her by digging a hole in the ditch. He at once made the hole and saw a small box.
    She grasped the box and said with great glee "I have it at last". She vanished from his sight but some-times at night, is seen taking water from a pond which flows through the field.
