  1. There is an old Castle in Curraghoe where it is said that two women saw a white lady. The women were out feeding pigs rather late one night, and when coming near the old Castle they saw her and she screaming. She then ran through the yard knocked at the door and at each of the windows of the house.
    A short while after a Brooch of an old design was found on the Castle window on which she stood screaming
    Around this old Castle are lios fields & into one of them a man went one night in search of his cattle. He thought he was coming towards the ditch when he stepped into a lios and there he saw wonders.
    He saw people who had died years before, and he stated that he knew most of them
