- In the town-land of Curraghoe in the Parish of Glanworth Co. Cork, there is a field called "The Stone Field".
There are two stones in this field, one resting against the other.
It is said that, one time long ago, a priest was saying Mass in this field, using the Stones as a Altar,
when suddenly soldiers arrived and captured the priest and killed him on the spot.
There are red marks on the stones to the present day and local people say that these marks represent the priest's blood. - The is a field adjoining the "Stone Field" called the "Kyle Field". When it was(continues on next page)
