  1. Inchinapalace is a townland situated on the road from Fermoy to Ballyhooly. It is on the north of the river Blackwater about two miles from Ballyhooly village. There are about nine farmer's houses in it and it has a population of about sixty people.
It is said that the good People had a palace under the ground in a field near the road which is Mr. Burke's. Every night they were heard singing playing and hurling. This is how the above townland got its name.
