    hurled about 20 feet to the bottom of the cliff. Another Mass path comes from Tincoora which is a townland on the other side of the glen river. About eighty years ago there was no bridge on that river and the water in places was very shallow. In these shallow places it was very difficult to pass in the winter time when the river was flooded.
    In later years the parish priest Canon Morrissey (R.I.P.) erected a wooden bridge over the river, which is to be seen to-day.
