  1. St Molaga set out to build a town and wished to build and did build his hut in 3 different places on the banks of the Arigideen River and each night when he woke in the morning his hut was tumbled down, so he got a sheaf of corn and threw it into the river and let it float away. The sheaf stopped at Timoleague (Tig Molaga) and there he built his hut and later the famous abbey was founded on the same site.
