    Got from Mr James Spillane (60) Kilkerran, Castlefreke, Clonakilty. We heard it from his father about 40 yrs ago. Father then 50. Both farmers

    The patron saint of the Diocese of Ross is Saint Fachna. There is the ruin of a little chapel in Rosscarbery called "Teampaillín Fachna", named after the saint. The following is the story
