A scart tree grows over each well it is said that if a limb was cracked purposely off (and) any one of the trees the well which it would grow over would dry up. I often saw an eel in Srútáinín na Leamhnacta but I never saw an eel in either of the others.
Mishells, Bandon.There is another holy well in Callatrim. There is no water coming into it nor anyThere is a holy well in Bandon Town Park. Blind people made rounds there long ago.
