  1. There is a fort in Carrigfada in which a little boy was playing ball one evening. When he was going home a woman appeared to him and beat him with a bush and when he went in home he began to cry and said that a woman beat him. Every evening afterwards he went to play with fairies in the same fort. Every night he talked about the fairies and said that he was riding from fort to fort. He got insane and was put into an asylum.
