    A motor boat in colours bright sailing round Cape Clear
    And from the deck of its fair bank is heard the sound of a prayer

    And I boast of my actions it's only my duty
    For I laid down my life for the Emerald Isle
    The barque at anchor waiting to bear me
    Over the billows to the land of the free
