  1. Long ago there was a man going around here by the name of Jerry Corkery. He was from Allihies. He used to come around here and stay in some house for a couple of nights and he used to go away to some other place then. He was very good for telling stories, and for singing songs.
    His favourite song was The State of Arkensaw. He was found dead in Ardgroom a couple of years ago.
