  1. My home district is called Cloonaholly. It is in the parish of Loughlynn and in the barony of Frenchpark. There are sixteen families in it. There are fifty people in it. There are five people over seventy. There are no people that can tell stories. The land is very good and sandy for crops. At one end of the district there is a bog, and a lake at the other end. The most common name in it is Clifford.

    P.S.
The name "Cloonaholly" may mean "the meadow of the boar" or "of the wood", but nobody locally can say.
