  1. During the famine times, Bolands used to deliver their flour and bread with horse drawn vans.
    When the drivers would stop to deliver the flour and bread the poor people would creep up to the van when the driver would be in some house and steal some flour, two or three sacks.
    They would throw it in some boghole and leave it there till the search would be over. Then they would take it out and find that only a little of the flour was wet.
