    Mr Heydon had a place for making them. It was a big pot made of cement. It was divided into two parts. The big place was for water and the small place was for the fire. There was a big Iron half-way to let down the ashes. He put the iron in the fire and left it there until it was red. Then he took it out with two long irons and beat it with two long stones. When it was beaten he would put in the fire again. When it would be red he would take it out again. Then he would turn it up around the edge and put the handle in it.
