He got very thin wire to make the lash of the whip and he covered it with horse skin and he made the handle from thick sally switches and covered it with horse skin also.
The hunts men got him the leather and he tanned it for them. He put horse hair under the leather and kept it inside with thick lining to keep the leather from hurting the horses back.
