  1. Some years ago there was a treasure hidden in Fraochan Hill in the Co. Kildare. It is in the barony of Kilkee and Moone. It was not known who placed it there.
    A man from Fraochan Hill and a few other men went out one day to dig for it and they found a few jewels and rings and a pot of gold.
    They were worth hundreds of pounds. Fairies were supposed to guard them and people often went to see could they get any more jewellery and gold and they could not get anymore of them.
