  1. Kilmoganny & Dunnamaggin played football in Rogerstown. The referee threw the ball in the air. A Kilmoganny man got it coming down & ran home with it. Kilmoganny won. The players dressed in their ordinary clothes.

  2. The Lamogue Football team was the best in Ireland in 1900, & Bill Walshe, one of the Kilmoganny players played with them when they defeated Kildare in the All-Ireland in 1900. 1903 was the last year they played & their last match was in Carrick.
