    Fairies were seen there and music was heard in it. One night when a man was coming from rambling at about eleven o'clock in the Winter. He had a dog with him and the dog ran into the fort. He came out barking mad and ran in under the mans feet and nearly threw him.

  2. In the townland of Lackin, a short distance from our school is a fort called Liosaphucu. This fort is situated on the side of a hill facing the south. It is surrounded by a circular ditch of earth with bushes growing on the top having an opening in the side. In the interior are markings which probably denote former residence of wood or
