- Long ago in Ireland raspberries were used to cure a sore throat. First the raspberries are pulled of the branches and then boiled. When they are boiled the juice is strained out of them. It is then put in bottles for a day or two.This should be gargled as many times in the day as possible.
- Elderberries are seen growing on a sort of a shrub on the sides of the road.It is used as a cure for coughs and colds. In the beginning of Autumn the elderberries are ripe. They are then boiled and a sort(continues on next page)
