    this happened at Killylara near Errigal
    another woman grabbed it from them she told them to put on a good fire & she threw the crying child into it & it went up the chimney. The fairies would allow children which the took & reared to come back & give news to human beings.
    If these forts were interfered with by any one there cattle would die
    About three years ago a man cut down a tree in Cloughnart fort, in a short time his horse was dead. Another time about nine years ago a man named Browne cut a fairy bush
    the teats were off his cow next morning.
    In Corragh a man named McCrudden cut down a bush & his animals died
    Lights & music were plentiful. At present Corragh fort is in cultivation.
