    Weather Lore.
The following are supposed to be signs of rain:-
A scattered sun or a watery sun.
When a cat washes over her ears.
    When she scratches the stool.
When she sits with her back to the fire.
    A yellow sun at sunset.
The curlew's call in the evening.
    When a donkey brays.
When the stars are shooting a "broch"round the moon.
    When a dog eats grass.
When a number of crows are seen in a grazing field.
    When ducks quack loudly.
When the sun is wading in vapour.
