- A cure for the chincough is to gather a handful of cherry leaves and boil them the blood of s rabbit take the drink before sun rise for three mornings.
A cure for an in growing toe nail is to pear the nail with a piece of glass and sit, bath it with boiling water and washing soda. A cure for a mote in an eye is to get a saucer of water and take three mouths full and spit the third one back on the saucers and the mote will be o it.
If you have the hiccough dab take a spoonful of sugar and think of who you like best.
An other cure for it is to take a mouthful of water and hold your nose and try to blow it and keep drinking at the water the whole time.
A cure for the heartburn is to put a spoonful of bacon in a cup of butter, milk and beat it up and take it.(continues on next page)
