- The chief way I amuse myself at home is by making toys, such as dolls and decorating the room with paper flowers. All I would need for to make a doll is a clothes peg and some crepe paper. I would put the peg standing and then cut a piece of the crepe paper about five inches long and two inches wide, I would tie this firmly with cotton on either side close up to the top of the peg.
