  1. There are many stories told locally about the Holy Family. One day when the soldiers trying for Our Lord to kill him because He was the Saviour. Our Lord had just passed a cornfield when the robin, seeing the blood drop from Him and knowing the soldiers would track Him flew out from the bush and cleaned up the Blood with its breast. This is the reason why the robin has a red breast.
