    a lonesome cry near a place called yellow gap. The he saw an old woman sitting down and she had in her hand a golden ball. The priest stopped and asked her what she had in her hand and she made no reply. He asked her a second time and she made no reply. A third time he asked and she said: “This is my magic charm”. Then he asked her what brought her there and she said she buried three of her sons without Baptism. Then he gave her his blessing and said: “thy sins are forgiven thee” and she vanished

  2. There lived long ago an old woman in a village called Mountcollins. This old woman had four girls and no boy. One of the little girls had a great habit of saying: “Hell is not full till you go into it. However the girl died and was buried. Each night after the girl died two dogs were seen pulling bone from each other.
