- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)a pack of cards and a heap of shillings opposite the man was another chair which was vacant. Tom resolved to go another road not to pass by the man. But the man made a sign with his finger and Tom went forward. They played many games and in the end Tom had fifteen shillings winners.
They then played to see which would go with the other and the man was winning all the games.
At last the man remarked that the other was supernatural and said he would go home. At this the other vanished. Tom never went playing cards afterwards.- Bailitheoir
