  2. Composition.
    Meals.
    Long ago the people had not as many meals as they have now. They had only the breakfast, the dinner, and a small drop of tea in the evening.
    They would have a small table and would bring it out into the middle of the floor. They would put a white tablecloth on it. Then all the people of the house would sit round it.
    For their breakfast they would have a cup of tea and a few cuts of wheaten bread. They were very fond of the wheaten bread.
    For the dinner they would have a basket of potatoes and a cup of milk. They would leave the basket
