    Cattle cures. If a cow is elf shot the man that owns her must get a bag of elf stones. The stones may be got in fields, these stones have the track of a thumb and a finger on them. He must put in silver and get water from a thre mairn river and give it to the cow to drink in the name of God, but before this a man will measure her three times with his hands and each time he will have a different measure.
    Red water
    There is a book in the Lower Rosses Point written by pen, in Latin and if there is a man that can read it ion three times over the cow before sunset the cow will be cured.
